Just completed: this beautiful gold corset, modeled by yours truly.  As you can see, I have significant waist reduction with this corset - 4 inches - and it is not laced completely closed in the back (deliberately).
This was made with very inexpensive fabric, and a combination of steel busk, nickel grommets, and a secret-ingredient boning material. |

I just finished sewing up a skirt for myself and I even though I paid really careful attention when I adjusted the waist of the fitted pattern, it is still too big for me. I can get away with wearing it, but before I hem it for my shortness, I thought I would see if there was anyone out there that it would fit better. |
