I had some time this morning, so I uploaded several photos into the gallery, as well as added a link to the top-level to the main menu. As a teaser, I have included some thumbnails of some recent projects, if you would like to continue reading...
I was bored, wanted to sew, but didn't want to start a large project as I have several that are in various stages of completion. So, I pulled out some fabric scraps and whipped up these scarves: When my client came to pick up his Halloween costume, he brought along some accessories for me to photograph him with. He has a future in modeling, perhaps. Another client wanted a costume that was a Gypsy dancer with a Renaissance look. I threatened to keep the skirt (actually, I went out and bought similar fabric to make my own), and I love how the vest turned out. This is the little gypsy costume I made for my friend's daughter. There are a lot of pieces that can be mixed and matched. Lastly, this will be one of my two new winter coats. The other will be a camel wool, and will be based on something from the 1950's. This one is late 1960's. |
